Paralympic Medallist Callie-Ann Warrington as a new Ambassador

As The 3H Foundation proudly marks its 50th anniversary, we are delighted to welcome Callie-Ann Warrington as our newest Ambassador.

Callie-Ann achieved a silver medal in the S10 100m Butterfly at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and a gold medal performance in the same event at the European Para Swimming Championships in Madeira earlier that year.

In addition to her sporting success, Callie-Ann is a qualified Diagnostic Radiographer and advocate for accessible sports facilities.

The 3H Foundation has spent five decades promoting inclusion, independence, and wellbeing for disabled people and their families. Callie-Ann’s extraordinary achievements in para swimming and dedication to advocacy reflect the values we have championed for half a century.

As we celebrate this landmark year, Callie-Ann’s voice and visibility will help us continue to promote the charity enabling more people to benefit from the services we provide.

Andy’s 3H Journey Through the Decades

As we celebrate our 50th year, it’s been heartwarming to hear from so many people whose lives have been touched by 3H. One message that really stood out came from Andy, who recently had what he called an “I wonder” moment.

Andy first joined a 3H holiday 47 years ago, at just 13 years old. From that very first trip, he became part of the 3H family, going on countless adventures throughout the 70s, 80s, and 90s. His memories are filled with excitement, courage, and a sense of freedom that defined his youth.

Here are just a few of the things Andy says he never would have done without 3H:

  • Rode the Big One in Blackpool
  • Went gliding over the Isle of Wight
  • Did a reverse bungee jump in Spain

But the most powerful thing he shared?

“Most importantly, I got to be me.”

That simple sentence says it all. 3H gave Andy not just experiences, but the space to be himself — to grow, explore, and thrive.

He also fondly remembers being featured on one of our early leaflets. “I didn’t even like that type of ice cream,” he laughed, “but I ate it anyway — it was free!”

Andy’s story is a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. It’s not just about the holidays — it’s about the memories, the milestones, and the moments of joy that stay with you for a lifetime.

Scorching Summer Holiday!

July marked the beginning of our 2025 adult group holidays and what a fantastic start it was! Our guests soaked up the sunshine and enjoyed a variety of memorable activities, including a captivating birds of prey show, a scenic steam train journey on the Bluebell Railway and a delightful day trip to Eastbourne.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Nutley Edge, the group shared meals, laughter and plenty of fun. From games and karaoke to delicious cake and refreshing mocktails, our guests made the most of every moment.

New friendships blossomed, and lasting memories were made. One guest shared, “I had a lovely time and have made wonderful memories. It was nice to feel independent and to be able to give my husband, who is my carer, a break.”

Another guest praised the experience, saying the entertainment and outings were “excellent.”

All in all, it was a truly amazing holiday — and just the beginning of what promises to be a wonderful year of adventures!

Impact 2025

Impact 2025

In 2025, we made a meaningful difference by providing the opportunity for people to get away on holidays that gave time to relax, make new friends and create lasting memories. The chance to receive home-based support, days out and group sailing holidays made a positive impact on the people we support.
