About Us

The 3H Foundation helps people with disabilities and carers have a period of respite. The 3H Foundation was formed in 1975 to provide holiday opportunities for families who faced similar needs. Years later the charity is still providing holidays for children and adults with disabilities!

Patron

Karen Darke holding her Paralympic medal.

Since July 2020 Dr Karen Darke MBE has been The 3H Foundation patron.  Karen is a London 2012 Paralympics silver
medallist and aRio 2016 gold medallist in hand-cycling.
Karen is also a geologist, an adventurer and writer! We are delighted to have the support ofsuch an inspirational person.
