Brighton 10K and Marathon

Help us help people with disabilities and carers have a break away
or a short period of respite.

Many unpaid carers spend their time making sure their loved ones are healthy and happy.  These carers often don’t have the time to take a short break or do something especially for their enjoyment and wellbeing.

Many people with disabilities do not have the opportunity or the available funds to take a holiday even just for a couple of days.  Getting a break somewhere new, trying new things, meeting new people and being able to put their day to day life to one side for even a short period of time can be a life-line.

We aim to support people have time to themselves and not have to think about hospital visits or appointments. Time to recuperate in different surroundings whether a beach in Norfolk, a holiday cottage in the New Forest or even in spa hotel only a few miles from home.

These little periods of respite can make a huge difference not only to the person we are helping but to those around them.

With people like you supporting us through fundraising activities we can provide these opportunities.
